I live in a charming small town in Ontario, Canada with my partner, two lovely cats named Frank and Bella, our dog Stella, and our Conure (bird), Konky.

We have been living in this area for about 20 years, and our home is surrounded by forests, fields, and a conservation area. During summers, we tend to our vegetable garden, which has grown over the years.

My journey traces back to a more introverted childhood and teenage years, where solitude became my canvas for self-expression through sketching and photography. The exploration of form and design expanded my visual perception and fueled my imaginative spirit. Despite familial expectations directing me towards administrative roles, I held onto the conviction that my future lay in a more creative pursuit.

Post-high school, I navigated through uninspiring jobs until my 30s, when I pursued part-time studies to fulfill my dream of becoming an Interior Decorator. Eventually, I broke into the world of design, continuing my education whenever time and finances allowed.

For 15 years, I've served as an interior decorator/designer, collaborating with clients to transform spaces into both functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. My responsibilities encompassed sourcing furniture, conducting presentations, and utilizing design software to sketch concepts.

Then came the disruptive force of COVID-19.

Although I have a great passion for design, I realized that working for design companies was not the right fit for me. The routine of appeasing contractors, management, co-workers, and handling unrealistic client expectations left me financially and spiritually drained.

Amidst this internal struggle, the desire to create vibrant, joyful images took shape, leading to the birth of digital illustration.

In my studio, I found solace and a means to express my creativity through design software, a medium I adore as an interior designer. Despite the challenges, my digital journey serves as a transformative outlet.

As I continue to draw inspiration and evolve in this digital realm, my collection of creations grows and in this world of digital illustration, I authentically embrace my true self.
